Walk in God's truth!

NIV 3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

Do you still remember how happy your parents were when you first learned how to walk? This joy is indescribable and when our God knows that we are walking in this truth, God shares the same joy as our parents. In NIV 3 John 1:4 "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.", here, John talked about the joy when a priest sees the believers who listen to his preaching, do walk the way. Through the priest's "happy face", we can sense that God is smiling at us when we turn to Him and live a life for His glory.

At the time when we accept God as our savior, we are saved by Jesus' sacrifice for our sins on the cross. But if we merely listen to God's Gospel without living in it, our so-called faith is meaningless. We need to show others the love we received from God in our lives, so that others can feel the love of our God. It is not an easy task to complete, but we can always ask the Holy Spirit to help us to act like Jesus. With God, you can do it!

Heavenly Father, thank you for your love. Help us to walk in the truth and let the people around us see how great is your love for us. Guide and lead them to come closer to you by making use of our lives. We prayed in Jesus' victorious name. Amen!
