Dishonest money dwindles away!

NIV Proverbs 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Money is not everything, or we should say: Money can't buy everything! There are many verses about God's attitude towards money, here are some: NIV Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. NIV Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment. And NIV Proverbs 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

We can't serve both God and money, and we should not do anything evil to earn money. NIV Psalm 128:2 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Due to human sin, Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden and since then humans need to eat the fruit of our labor. But God also promised that if we obey and serve Him, He will bless and prosper us and let us live in contentment.

Lord, thank you for your blessings. Forgive us if we have spent much more time and have our heart in chasing wealth in the world than seeking your words. You are all good and please help us repent and know that you are the source of everything. We prayed in Jesus' Holy Name, Amen!
