Leaving the old me behind and bear the new seed today!

NIV 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

Welcome to the year 2024, a time when many are diligently crafting their goals and resolutions for the days ahead. But have we ever considered shedding our old selves and donning the armor of faith to embark on a new journey?

In the words of NIV: 2 Corinthians 5:17 , "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" This verse reminds us that in Christ, we are granted the incredible opportunity to repent and start anew. Every day may be a new day, but how we choose to live it is a deeply personal decision.

We can choose to harden our hearts and follow the ways of the world, or we can opt to obey and follow God's path. This may involve immersing ourselves in the Bible, becoming an active part of the Christian community, and serving God in all aspects of our lives.

So, let us not make excuses for inertia, but rather, take decisive action to follow God in all that we do. You are no longer confined by your past; in Christ, you are reborn and made anew.

Dear Heavenly Father, we offer our gratitude for your words and teachings. We understand that you are ever-present with us, and should we choose to follow you, you have promised to renew our lives and be by our side for eternity. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen!
