Slow to anger!

NIV Proverbs 12:16 Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult.

God always wants us to build intimacy with Him through the trial and difficulties in our lives, we need to lay down our desires and follow Him. Just like what Jesus teaches us in NIV Luke 9:23 “Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."

NIV Proverbs 12:16 "Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult" is a good reminder to us that we should slow to anger and listen to others' needs first. When we try to put others before ourselves, we have learned how to love others like ourselves. We will become the peacemakers in lieu of fools who ease anger to others at once.

Father, thank you for your encouragement and reminders to us. Please send us forward to be the person you want us to be, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
