In the old days, Jesus taught us in Matthew to seek God's kingdom and His righteousness first before our prayers. We can't predict what could happen every day, so it may be good for us to practise doing it in the morning every day to start our days. In this way, we can build up stronger faith in following God.
We always think that when the situation is friendly and safe, it is the perfect timing for us to preach. But indeed, no matter we are in a favorable situation or not, we still need to preach God's words. It was said in NIV 2 Timothy 4:2 "Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction". When there is a disaster, pandemic outbreak or economy recession, it is a good timing for us to preach Gods Gospel to the world. The world needs hope and love, we can help others by sharing our testimony and pray for them.
Lord, thank you for seeking us first, so that we can have a chance to know you. You are faithful and powerful, with your love and mercy on us, we can come out of the pain. Stay with us, Lord! Amen!
