NIV Psalm 54:4 Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
As people hustle and bustle around us, we may lose focus and be blinded by what we can see, listen to, or sense physically. Gossips and rumors surround us like the air we breathe every day. Those illusions made us suffocate and worry all the time.
Whenever there is an obstacle in front of us, will we seek God's help immediately? We often use human effort based on our knowledge and experience, but David's prayer in NIV Psalm 54:4 reveals the truth: "Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me." God protects us 24 hours a day and 7 days a week without taking a break. We need to have faith in Him even though we can't see His presence.
Lord, thank you for your faithfulness. You are my rock of refuge, to which we can always go. Help us know more about you and how good you are to us. We prayed in Jesus' victorious name, Amen!
