Sometimes, it is questionable for whether we can really lay down completely in front of God and let Holy Spirit inside us to guide us through. Indeed, this can show how faithful we are! Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 3:17 "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.", he stressed on Holy Spirit's work and the salvation of Jesus.
Having said that human can only influence others, only God can change a person. Take losing weight as an example, you may set a goal and a complete plan on it. Doing exercise regularly and adopting a healthier diets for few days maybe sustainable, without Holy Spirit's help, we are vulnerable to devil's attack and give up our plan easily even though the plan is good for our health. Invite the Holy Spirit to clean and shape us so that we can be the living proof for Jesus. Let our hearts be all in the Lord!
Heavenly father, thank you for letting Holy Spirit to dwell in us. We are willing to give our hearts and work for your own good. We know that we can't change our lives on our own, please clean and shape us to become more like Jesus. Amen!
