Help my unbelief!

NIV Mark 10:51 "What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus asked him.

We all understand that not every prayer can have God's favor, especially when our intention is selfish, we still have unconfessed sins, we are lack of faith or our request is far from God's abundant blessing. NIV Mark 10:51 "What do you want me to do for you? Jesus asked him." How great is our God to ask what do we want Him to do for us! Jesus recovered the blind man's sight after he replied to Jesus' question. The man received much more than he prayed for, not only physically can see things again, but also awarded with God's blessing because of his faith.

Indeed God loves to respond to our requests, NIV Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you." If we pray according to His will, just like Bartimaeus, one day God will tell us "Go, your faith has healed you.". We will receive more than requested. Do not lose hope and faith when our prayers are not fulfilled. Try to evaluate the requests and keep praying with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, thank you for asking what do we want you to do for us. We know that you are faithful and almighty, if we seek you wholeheartedly, you will open the door for us. Amen!
