NIV Romans 6:14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
In other passages, we knew that Jesus did not come to the earth to abolish the law, but to complete it. We were saved by Jesus' redemption at the cross over 2000 years ago, He died once for all people's sins in the past, present and future. He has done everything He needs to redeem us from sins!
NIV Romans 6:14 "For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace." We are forgiven by God through grace and by Jesus' resurrection. Thanks to God's faithful promise in NIV 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." After the new covenants with God has been put in place, all our sins will be forgiven if we confess and repent them before God!
Lord, thank you for your faithful promise and love for us. Thanks for sending Jesus to redeem us from sins and die for our sins. Help us refrain from sinning against us and hold fast to your words. In Jesus' name, Amen!
