Wait for the Lord!

NIV Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Surrounded by high-tech appliances and gadgets, we become impatient. Some of us need to provide instant services to our customers at work, while others are demanding immediate results. Waiting means wasting of our time in the modern world terminology. But we all need preparation before making things happen and so does God's work on us. 

Just imagine we are going to have a birthday party at home and you want to bake a cake yourselves. God is the baker of the cake and we are the cake. It takes time and effort for God to mix all the ingredients up before putting the batter into the oven. NIV Psalm 27:14 "Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." God uses the author's words to encourage us to wait for Him patiently during the making and baking process and be strong and take heart during the process. Only God will know when is the perfect timing for His plan to be completed on us, have faith and trust in Him before seeing the result!

Heavenly Father, thank you for your patience with us. Help us to confess our known and unknown sins to you and repent. Forgive us for our lack of faith and patience. In Jesus' name we prayed. Amen!
