NIV Ephesians 5:2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
If someone asks us who is Jesus, what would you say? Son of God, our Messiah, savior, highest priest of the world, teacher, and role model? Despite what identity we think Jesus has in our hearts, He is a real God who came down from Heaven to live in the world in human flesh and sacrifice to redeem us from sins. Our ultimate goal is to be like Jesus, like what Apostle Paul said in NIV Ephesians 5:2 "and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."
Out of love and mercy, God let His son come down to the earth and sacrifice for human sins. His unconditional love reaches everyone's heart and Jesus' death on the cross signified our sins were forgiven. We now have a new life if we acknowledge Jesus as our savior. Through Jesus, we learn how we should live our life.
Lord, thank you for walking with us. Your omnipresence means everything to us, with you, we can have the strength to overcome every obstacle and sadness in life. Help us to be more like Jesus and guide us to walk in love. Amen!
