NIV 2 Thessalonians 1:3 We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.
We will acknowledge or appreciate other people's efforts by thanking for their work, but how about our God? Have you often appreciate God's work on you by thanking Him before making prayer requests? NIV 2 Thessalonians 1:3 "We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing." Paul encourages believers to acknowledge God's merciful works and blessings on us by always give thanks to God.
Our God is progressive, He does things step by step. And so does our faith, we start with little faith, then gradually grow in spiritual maturity and trust in God by giving our testimonies. When we grow in faith, God will give more and more blessings to reward us.
Heavenly Father, thank you for helping us to grow in faith step by step. Your love and guidance are essential to our spiritual living. Give us Godly wisdom from you, so that we can understand your words and help others to grow in faith. In Jesus' name, Amen!
