NIV Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
People said Hebrews 11 is the Chapter for "Heroes of Faith", we can see that there are different miraculous stories of faithful people in this chapter. NIV Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek him." Through faith, the heroes of faith became the living proofs for God's never-failing promises. Even though many of them can't see things happen, they still trust that God is in control and will use them to complete His plan.
This reminds us to think about our faith. Do we trust in God's eternal vision or we still rely on the visible proof for God's grace? I know it is hard for us to believe in the things that do not exist, but faith requires us to do so. God's omniscient leads us to prosper and live in eternality.
Lord, thank you for keeping your promises faithfully. Through the story of faithful heroes in the book of Hebrews, we know that you can accomplish what is impossible for us to imagine. Help us to hold fast and stand firm to your words. Amen!
