The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.

NIV Exodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.

God hardened Pharaoh's heart and he pursued the Israelites after they left Egypt. Indeed, God wants to gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army so that the Egyptians will know that He is the Lord. When Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up and found that Egyptians were marching after them. They were frightened and cried out to the Lord. They blamed Moses for bringing them from Egyptians to die in the desert. No one wants to be a slave for others, but when threats come to the Israelites, their origin of servile outweighs the gratitude to Moses to bring them out of the slavery lives.

Moses experienced God's blessings and saw His miracles time by time, so he was confident and calm. He encouraged the Israelites not to be afraid and NIV Exodus 14:14 "The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still." Throughout this crisis, Moses won the Israelites' hearts to be their great leader.

Father, thank you for encouraging us all the time and let us live in peace and harmony when we are in the storm. We know that you will fight for us and what we need to do is to be still and know that you are God. We prayed in Jesus' Holy name, Amen!
