Thanks be to God!

NIV 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

King Solomon taught us that there is a time for everything, he said in NIV Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 "There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens. A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot." We can also learn from the book of Genesis that God created everything on the Earth step by step according to His schedule. This is also true for Jesus Christ, He knew the time to ascend to Heaven and told his disciples "my time is not yet come".

Thanks to Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, our sins are forgiven and we are clean now. Jesus fulfilled the prophecy in the scriptures. Just like what Paul said in NIV 1 Corinthians 15:57 "But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Through the resurrection of Christ, the power of sin and the sting of death have all lost their effectiveness on us. God made us triumph through "Our Lord Jesus Christ"! 

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for sending Jesus to the world and bring us hope and resurrection. Your love is the greatest thing in the world as we are all sinners, but you still love us. Help us to lean on you more and learn from Jesus to glorify your name. In Jesus' name, Amen!
