We wait for it patiently!

NIV Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

Do you know how long has God waited for our return? He has plans for us before we are born and His timing is always perfect. Although what we are longing for eg. the second coming of Christ, immediate healing on the sick body, and eternal living could not be seen by us now, we will need to wait for it patiently. Just like God has waited for our return to Him. 

NIV Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Our timing isn't God's timing, God will never be too early or too late, but just in time. I know it is hard for us to keep waiting for God's promise to be fulfilled because we are living in a highly technological world, everything comes in handy without delay. While we are waiting, we can fix our eyes on God and be grateful for what we have in our hands. Counting God's blessings on us can help strengthen our faith in Him!

Lord, thank you for waiting for our return patiently. Teach us how to wait for your promises to be fulfilled while we know that you are working for our good all the time. Let us fix our eyes on you and wait patiently. Amen!
