Keep prayers over food before meal!

NIV Genesis 9:3 Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. 

In God's covenant with Noah, He told Noah in NIV Genesis 9:3 "Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything." We all know that God created man in His own image and let mankind rule over all the creatures of the earth. He does view us more important than any other thing. 

God gives us freedom on food choice, but not everything on the earth is a portion of good food for our health. There are long lists on clean and unclean food in Genesis, Deuteronomy and Leviticus, people have debates on them for a long time. NIV Acts 10:15 "The voice spoke to hi a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean." God has cleaned the food for Peter for his consumption. In all cases, we should pray over food before we eat to give glory back to God and ask for clean food. 

Father, thank you for giving us the freedom to live in the world. Help us to get closer to you so that we know what thing is good for us and which one is not. We prayed in Jesus' name, Amen!
