Jesus comes to fulfill the laws.

NIV Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets, I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Jesus was born under the Law of Moses, NIV Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets, I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." Even though the laws are perfect, the human is not. The laws gave us knowledge of sin and the prophet prophesied Messiah will come to the world. Jesus's presence is to fulfill the commands of God and not to abolish them.

Though Jesus has broken the rules- He healed a man on Sabbath, ate with sinners and cleansed the temple of the money changers in the new testaments. He knows the laws better than anyone else and He teaches the laws. He fulfills and accomplishes the law, In NIV Matthew 5:19, "Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

Father, thank you for giving us your commands and sending Jesus to the earth to teach your laws. Forgive our sins so that we can love you with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind. Amen!
