Jesus ascended to Heaven with the witness of His disciples!

NIV Acts 1:9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 

I am sure we are all familiar with the famous scene that Jesus ascended to Heaven 40 days after His Resurrection (Easter is counted as day one). Before ascending to heaven, Jesus gave His last instruction to the disciples. Although they have become leaders and are no longer ordinary followers, they still ask Jesus when will come. Jesus did not give them a very clear answer but gave them a vision. He wanted them to stay in Jerusalem until they received the required power to preach God's gospel to the world.  

NIV Acts 1:9 "After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight." Jesus ascended into Heaven miraculously in front of His disciples. He is a great teacher and leaders, through His preaching and help, the disciples became more mature in Spirit and became great spiritual leaders later on. How awesome our God is, to let His only son descend and die in human flesh. 

Lord, thank you for waiting for us patiently. Help us learn from Jesus so that we can refrain from sins and live as His representatives on the earth. In Jesus' name, Amen!
