We all know that everyone has different gifts and blessings from God, some may be good at comforting others, some may be good at singing and some may speak different languages etc. We may have more than one gift from God, so we may not be able to realize we have the said gifts. But when God works through you, you will be amazed on how much you can do. We may be deceived by Devil on what is our own achievement and what is God's achievement, but we need to be sure that if we are called by God to do certain things, we should be confident that God will provide helps for us to achieve His goals. And at the end of the day, we should give credit to Him coz it is done not on our own strength, but on His mercy and grace.
In 2 Peter 1:10-11 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If God calls us on something, eg. be one of the church cell group leader or give out our testimony in front of others, when we trust God and do it even though we are not strong enough to do it, God will make our path right and we will never stumble.
Heavenly Father, thank you for calling us to be your children on the earth. Thanks for forgiving our sins and let us have the strength to face the challenge when we are walking in your way for you. Lord, deliver us from temptation and encourage us by giving us someone to walk with for your calling. In His name, Amen!
