Jesus as the substitute for people's sins!

NIV Philippians 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross!

Do you remember the famous scene in the bible that Abraham bringing Issac to God's destined place and intending to give Issac as an offering to God? At the very last moment, the angel of God stopped Abraham from doing so by telling him, God now knows Abraham fears God and is willing to sacrifice his one and only son to God.

God demonstrated His willingness to do the same thing by letting His one and the only son Jesus to be born in human form. Jesus is the substitute for His people to die for their sins. NIV Philippians 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross! How great is the love of God to us!

Lord, thank you for your love. Help us refrain from sinning against you for the sake of cherishing Jesus' resurrection on the cross. We do not deserve your love, but you are graceful and merciful that we are saved and cleaned by Jesus' salvation. Amen!
