Living in the hustle and bustle world, we are overwhelmed with rumors and fake news. How can decide what to trust? And what should we do if we hold different opinions from others? Psalm 34:14 tells us to "Turn from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it." It is no good for us to argue for something that we don't even know it is true or not. Be a peacemaker and embrace others with love. A peaceful heart worth more than a piece of gold.
When it comes to doing good, as a typical human, I found it is hard to achieve. NIV Romans 7:18 "For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out."
We should pray that God will let Holy Spirit to help us when we are struggling on doing good coz we may not be able to have the faith and strength to carry it out!
Father, thank you for delivering us from evil and let us have wisdom to follow your words through scriptures. Give us a peaceful heart and mind so that we can do good to glorify your name. In Him, Amen!
