My friend, please preserve our heart and soul and do not exchange them with the earthly stuff! There is numerous movie scenes mentioning about the devil use the earthly wealth to induce a typical human for an exchange of their soul. Most of the time, the person selling his/her soul may be very rich and happy at the beginning, but his/her finish is very worse. Family and friends leave them alone and they feel very lonely even though they got lots of money.
In Mark 8:36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world yet forfeit their soul? Brothers and sisters don't fall into devil's trap on earthly stuff, but focus on the eternity life. Follow Jesus's words and do not sin against God. God will provide what we need for everyday's life and we can be carefree.
Father in heaven, thank for your merciful providence to us. We all love you and please ask Holy Spirit to teach us what should we focus on each day. We prayed in your precious son's Holy name. Amen!
