What will you ask for when you are praying to God? Something urgent and big like immediate healing of illness or family salvation? John 16:24 tells us "Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete." God wants to have a close relationship with us, even though He knows your thoughts and needs, He still wants to hear the prayers from you.
No matter how small the thing is, do ask God on that and keep it as a habit. A friend of mine told me that she will ask God what to wear everyday. Developing a close relationship with God is important, coz we can be more mature on spirit and we will know what is from God's will and what is not gradually. So don't be shy to pray for a little thing like what should you wear to work today!
Father in heaven, thank you for giving us an earthly father so that we can know how you love us through him. Happy father's day and wish you enjoy our prayers everyday, may you bless us on them. We prayer in Jesus' name, Amen!
