NIV 1 John 3:18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
When we read some self-help books, the trainers always tell us inspiration without actions mean nothing. It's also true for our faith. In the book of James 2:17 NIV, James said " Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." The mere talk could not lead us to grow in spiritual maturity or glorify God.
NIV 1 John 3:18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. We need to act by faith to show our love to others instead of saying we love others more than ourselves. Actions are more important than words!
Heavenly Father, thank you for your love. As your children, our goal is to be more like Jesus. Help us not love with words or speech but with actions in truth. We prayed in Jesus' name, Amen!
