In Acts 20:35, Jesus said "It is more blessed to give than to receive." We are blessed if we have the ability to give. When we went to visit an injured sister in the hospital few years ago, some said we spent time and money to comfort, to buy necessities and to take care of the sister, why we were more blessed. Our priest told us that we had the grace from God so that we were capable to provide help and go to comfort the sister, at least we were not injured. Yes, that was true, to give is more blessed than to take.
Proverbs 11:25 A generous person will prosper, whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. When you give more, you will be given more. See also in NIV Matthew 13:12 Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. God is the living God, He will see what you have done, and grant the award to you according to your action.
Our Lord in heaven, thanks for giving us the ability to give and help others in the world. Please provide what we need for everyday and help us to get out of debt and insufficiency, so that we can provide help to others. We prayed in your Holy son's name. Amen!
