The Lord is near!

NIV Philippians 4:5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

Self-pride can blind us, and only humble can lead to joy. As Christians, we serve as witnesses for God's love and grace. NIV Philippians 4:5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Paul teaches us to grow in spiritual maturity and be a role model to non-believers. We need to be gentleness to others and humble ourselves in front of God as Jesus will come back to the earth again.

Sin can bring temporary joy to our lives, but submission to God can lead us to have real enjoyment. More than 2000 years ago, Jesus humbled Himself by coming down to the world in human flesh and died for our sins. He did not curse the one who hurt Him and suffered a lot before His death on the cross. We should learn from Jesus to forgive the one who hurts us and enjoy God's grace in our life.

Heavenly Father, thank you for teaching us to be humble. Help us put down our self-pride and submit to you with a pure heart. Rejoice in you as always and walk with Christ till we can meet you again in Heaven. Amen!
