Jesus as a doctor!

NIV Matthew 9:12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”

If you are familiar with Jesus' teaching in the New Testament, you will know that Jesus preaches with parables sometimes. Matthew, the tax collector invited Jesus to join the dinner with his friends one night. The Pharisees knew that and asked why Jesus ate with sinners.

NIV Matthew 9:12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.” How awesome was Jesus' reply to the Pharisee's false accusations! Jesus revealed Himself as a doctor who cures the patients in the world. He sees the world based on His mercy and grace, but not judgment. The sinners must admit their sins before they can accept the Lord's salvation.

Father Lord, thank you for sending the biggest doctor Jesus to the world to heal us. As sinners, we are like the Pharisees who falsely accuse others based on our judgment. Help us admit our sins and repent to you quickly. We prayed in Jesus' Holy Name, Amen!
