Be on your guard!

NIV 1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

Time flies, we are living in the year 2021 now. Day after day, are we growing in age, but not spiritual maturity? Paul warned the people in the Corinthian church not to be mere infants in Christ. He also reminded them in NIV 1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

Our spirits are willing to follow God, but our flesh is weak. We need to guard against our hearts, resist the temptation, and not stumble. There are more and more chances for us to get access to all information on the internet than ever as we get more time to stay at home during the outbreak. We need to be aware of what we watch and read every day, so we can fix our eyes on God instead of worldly temptation.

Father, thank you for reminding us not to fall into evil's trap. Give us strength and grace for the day so that we can grow in spirit with Christ. We prayed in Jesus' name, Amen!
