Do not lose what we have worked for!

NIV 2 John 1:8 Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.

Be careful to false teachers wandering around the world! That's what Jesus reminded His disciples before ascending to heaven. He said many will come in His name and will deceive many. As Christians, we need to be aware of false teaching in the world and not to fall into traps.

NIV 2 John 1:8 Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. If we continue to walk in truth and love, God's blessing will continue to come to us, and finally, the church will let more people come to know Christ. However, if you deny Jesus Christ and trust in the false teachers, this kind of work will be lost.

Father, thank you for sending Jesus to the world. With the bible, we can know more about you and your words. Together with Jesus' salvation and teaching, we are forgiven for our original sins and can now build a closer relationship with you. Give us Godly wisdom so that we can distinguish your plan and words for us from false teachers in the world. Amen!
