Couldn't fall asleep last night? Still feel angry after a fight with your friends? Disappointed in yourself due to the inability to change the current situation? I Think many of us have encountered one of these before. But God tells us in NIV 2 Thessalonians 3:16 "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you." Seek God when you struggle and He will give you peace.
Our mind is crowded by thoughts and emotions, if we don't control them, we will be overwhelmed. Most of the time, we have worried too much over something that does not exist. For example, I will worry about being caught by the traffic jam the next day when I am lying on bed at night. God is in control for everything, all we need to do is leave our burdens and thoughts to Him. His promise will never fail and so we can have peace from Him all the time.
Father, thank you for your unfailing love on us. Give us peace at all time and in all way. Be with us and help us escape from worry and anxiety. Amen!
