Live by faith!

NIV 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight.

We are all familiar with David's story to defeat Goliath, we can see he has strong faith in God when he is talking to Saul. In 1 Samuel 17:37, "The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine." And later, when he faces Goliath, David tells the Philistine the battle is the Lord's. With faith, David beats Goliath with a stone.

When we face challenges in lives, we will feel anxious and frustrated. NIV 2 Corinthians 5:7 Paul said "For we live by faith, not by sight." When we feel hopeless, we are living by sight, but not faith. That is not to say God does not allow us to have negative emotion, but for the one who live by faith, will quickly adjust themselves and leave their problems with God. David's story to beat a giant Philistine can really encourage us to speak to others that God will fight the battle for us and deliver us from danger when we are facing challenge. Brothers and Sisters, do pray and have faith!

Lord, thank you for your unfailing love on us. Strengthen our faith today so that we can have you to fight and win the battle for us in lives. Father, we love you and please let us feel your love and remain faithful in you. Amen!
