Do not deceive yourselves!

NIV 1 Corinthians 3:18 Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become "fools" so that you may become wise.

Paul asked the fellows in Corinthian Church "Are you not mere human beings?", coz he saw many of them doing wrong things, they were still infants in Christ. Yes, we have many challenges to live by the Spirit as we are facing the attacks of evil from time to time. Paul also reminded us in NIV 1 Corinthians 3:18 "Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become "fools so that you may become wise."

Appearing to be wiser than others can give us the sense of superiority, but God see the worldly wisdom as foolishness.

Do not boast yourselves to be wiser than any others and be humbly submissive to our Lord and learn from His son- Jesus.

Lord, thank you for sending Jesus to the world and let many apostles to experience you before us. Give us Godly wisdom instead of the worldly one so that we are no longer fools in your sight. Amen!
