Be teachable!

NIV Proverbs 10:8 The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.

How many times we have tried to be smart and ignore advice from spiritual leaders and friends? We stumble a lot when we ignore God's warning, and we will filter out others' advice when we trust that we are smarter than others. We all know that the Tortoise wins the match in "The Tortoise and the Hare", how important humble and stay focus is!

NIV Proverbs 10:8 The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin. God teaches us the wise will accept His commands, and human wisdom can never win over God's. Be teachable and don't let self-arrogance win over your faith in God!

Father, thank you for your wise advice. As human beings, we have limited knowledge and wisdom. We can't predict what will happen next, Lord, please give us wisdom from you so that we can walk in the right direction to honor you. We prayed in Jesus' victorious name, Amen!
