NIV Proverbs 12:15 The way seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice
When somebody suggests us to do something, we will tend to take their advice when they are favorable to us. But the story may be changed when we think the advice is not workable. Indeed, there are always lessons to learn on how to humbly obey God's commands.
NIV Proverbs 12:15 The way seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice. Sometimes we will use our experience and knowledge to judge if it is wise to obey or not. But God wants us to obey Him like the Apostle Peter who trusts in Jesus' words and catch lots of fish in the sea.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for teaching us how to obey. Help us walk with Jesus and learn from Him. Amen!
