Romans 8:8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
Following the call from the flesh or following the call from the Holy Spirit can bring us greater joy? I think most of us will know the answer. The joy from the flesh is temporary, but the joy from God is eternal. Resisting the temptation from the flesh's call to sin can help us build a closer relationship with God.
NIV Romans 8:8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. Led by the Holy Spirit can help us realize how great is God's love for us. We will gain true freedom from God's love. But how to please God? Only if we reject the call of the flesh to sin and that can make God happy.
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us true freedom. Your love for us strengthens our faith in you to reject the call of the flesh to sin against you. Embrace us with your hug today and protect us from any danger. We prayed in Jesus' Holy Name, Amen!
