NIV Psalm 115:1 Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.
When someone praises our good works, what will you say to them? Will you claim that it is your glory or you will give the glory to God? By grace through faith, we receive God's blessing and have the ability to complete the tasks on the earth. See how the Psalmist praises God in NIV Psalm 115:1 "Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness."
God brought the Israelites out of Egypt and displayed wonders of His power in the Red Sea, all the miracles can't be explained with human knowledge and the Psalmist praised God humbly for His blessing. Out of God's love and faithfulness, we see miracles after miracles. And we should give glory to all the wonders as God is the origin of our strength.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your love and faithfulness. With you, we can do anything and you will fight every battle for us. Help us be humble and learn how to give glory to you in every work we do. We prayed in Jesus' Holy Name, Amen!
