Your thoughts are not our thoughts!

NIV Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.

We often hear people say "Thy will be done.", then we will reply with an "Amen". But when it comes to real-life situations, will we choose to obey God or will we do what favors ourselves? If we are not faithful enough, 99% of the chance we will follow our own will. God let us have the freedom to choose and He remains faithful to His words and plans even though we fail to follow His instructions.

NIV Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord." Despite the current advancement in technology, human knowledge and wisdom are still finite when compared to God. God is the creator and everything is under His control. So next time, when we hear "Thy will be done.", we should not only say Amen but also fix our eyes on God and follow His instructions. 

Father, thank you for giving us a chance to repent. Our human knowledge and wisdom can't compare to yours and so help us to obey your instructions coz your way is higher than ours and thy will be done. Amen!
