God created the world and everything in it and His wisdom is higher than human wisdom. When we face multiple choices in life, we use to choose the most favorable way by applying earthly wisdom and experience. Indeed, we may choose the wrong way leading to a dead end. Paul taught us to rely on the Holy Ghost's help on prayers. NIV Romans 8:26 "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans."
Our ego and arrogance might blind our eyes and we can't think thoroughly about what to pray. If we trust God with a pure heart, then we can listen to the Holy Spirit inside us and ask for the right things God wants us to pray. We should say God is wiser than us and may His Kingdom come, may His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We are shortsighted and can't predict the future. But God sees it through as He is the almighty and merciful creator of the world.
Father, thank you for letting the Holy Spirit dwell in us so that we can rely on His instruction to pray. Help us to hear from you via the Holy Spirit as often as we can. We prayed in your son's Holy name, Amen!
