Do not judge!

NIV Matthew 7:1 Do not judge, or you too will be judged.

Whenever we are talking with someone, we may have stereotypes about others. Our experience, knowledge or abilities will drive most of our decision on what to say, think, and act if we do not seek God first. Our wisdom cannot compare with God's and human knowledge is finite and limited but God's isn't. In our everyday lives, if the judge at court making the wrong judgment, an innocent person will be sent to prison wrongly. And so do we, if we judge others wrongly, it will cause us or others trouble.

Jesus taught us in NIV Matthew 7:1 Do not judge, or you too will be judged. Only God has the right to judge, coz humans are God's creations and servants only. While we are judging others, we will lose a chance to understand their needs and share God's grace with them. We can be wrong all the time, so always put others first and listen to them without judging or we will too be judged by God.

Lord, thank you for withholding the right to judge with your hands. By faith and through grace, we can live in Christ and enjoy the beautiful world you created for us to manage. Help us not to judge others but listen to their needs first to glorify your name. Amen!
