NIV Romans 5:19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
The book of Genesis revealed to us that sin passes from one generation to the next. After Adam and Eve first sinned against God by eating the fruit from the tree of Good and Evil, their son Cain murdered Abel. As apostle Paul said in NIV Romans 5:19 "For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.", Adam's sinful action and disobedience had a ripple effect on his descendants' sinful actions.
But God is graceful and merciful to humans that He sent His Son to the world and sacrifice for our sins, so through the obedience of Jesus the many will be saved and made righteous.
Father, thank you for your grace and mercy on us. Help us learn to obey your every command through the Holy Spirit. Talk to us and derive us from temptation as we are too weak to live alone. We prayed in Jesus' victorious name, Amen!
