Sing in praise of His name!

NIV Psalm 68:4 Sing to God, sing in praise of His name, extol Him who rides on the clouds, rejoice before Him--His name is the Lord.

One of my friends enjoys singing to praise the Lord during worship, she likes the songs so much and she keeps singing them after the sermon. A non-Christian friend hears about it and asks why we usually sing in the worship before and after the sermon? There are numerous verses in the bible that mention the need of singing praise to the Lord. Especially in the book of Psalm, we can find lots of songs being sung before us. 

NIV Psalm 68:4 "Sing to God, sing in praise of His name, extol Him who rides on the clouds, rejoice before Him--His name is the Lord." Thanks to God's unconditional love and mercy to us, we can enjoy joy and peace in Christ. God is almighty and omnipresent, songs to praise the Lord can help us strengthen our faith in Him. Music helps unify us in the church together with the Holy Spirits and Gospel. Praise be to God, Hallelujah!

Father, thank you for creating music ability in us. Help us to put you first in our life so that we can sing to praise your Holy name every day and night. Amen!
