Fear nothing but God!

NIV John 14:1 Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. 

When we have a lot on our plates, we tend to make decisions out of our own will instead of praying to hear guidance from God. If things do not work under our plan, fear and anxiety will come to us. Indeed, it bears no risk to follow God's plan as He is faithful and almighty. Why don't we enjoy a care-free life by trusting Him with a pure heart?

Towards the very end of Jesus' life on the Earth, He offered comfort to His disciples in NIV John 14:1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me.", He knew the weakness of His disciples and so He told them to trust Him. Jesus explained to them that He was returning to Heaven and preparing the place for us. He wanted His disciples to have faith in Him even though they won't be able to see Him physically again. Faith is we trust in God when we do not see. 

Lord, thank you for your teaching and comfort. We know that nothing is too difficult for you to handle and if we believe in Jesus and you, you will help us get through every difficulty. Help us to have a strong faith in you and walk with you. Amen!
