Enjoy God's omnipresence!

NIV Genesis 13:17 "Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you."

In the old days, God called Abram to leave his home country and go to the promised land. By faith, Abram obeyed God's command and went up from Egypt to the Bethel with his wife and Lot. But as both men continued to be blessed with livestock, silver, and gold, the land can't accommodate them. Having said that, if two ride on a horse, one must ride behind. To avoid further conflicts and arguments between their fellows, Abram let Lot choose which land to settle and he will go in the other direction. How gentle and humble Abram was!

After their separation, God reaffirmed and comforted Abram by telling him in NIV Genesis 13:17 "Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.". These blessings mean much to Abram, it is the reward of obedience and compensation to give up his own ego and human right to put others first. How great is our God, giving such encouragement and reward to the righteous person like Abram!

Lord, thank you for your omnipresence! We know that you listen to every word and read our every thought second by second, give us encouragement and strength when we are having a spiritual burnt-out. We prayed in Jesus' victorious name, Amen!
