NIV Ezekiel 12:28 Therefore say to them, "This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord."
When we see things don't go our way, we may doubt God for not listening to our prayers. But we should know that God is in control of everything! If our prayer requests do not fit His plan for us, He will not make things happen in our way to protect us. He is a promise keeper and never-failing God. When He promises something to happen, He will fulfill them at His designated time and place.

Lord told us that His promises and commands will not be delayed, all the things will be fulfilled. Even though people in Ezekiel's time thought that their nation won't be destroyed in near future, God said to them it would happen soon. We need to be careful of God's warnings and reminders to avoid sinning against God. Do repent when we sin against Him!
Father, thank you for your merciful warnings and reminders sent to us. We should listen to the Holy Spirit's little voice before making any decisions. Help us obey your commands with a pure heart and soul. We prayed in Jesus' victorious name, Amen!
