NIV Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Before receiving Jesus' resurrection, God will come to the earth or send His angel army to the earth to speak to His people. He spoke to Noah and Abraham and sent angels to talk to Lot. Even though some of them had questions and doubts about God's instructions, they obeyed God's commands and were righteous in the eyes of God.
We may envy Abraham that God spoke clearly on what would be given to Abraham and the definite time for Issac to be born. But indeed, we have the bible to read every day, we can learn and understand God's will and attributes through His words. Also, the Holy Spirit is the biggest gift from God. NIV Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. With the Holy Spirit's help, we can hear what God wants us to do and win the battle over the flesh.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for leading us with the Holy Spirit. Help us win the battle over our flesh and walk in Christ. We prayed in Jesus' victorious name, Amen!
