We brought nothing into the world and we can take nothing out of it!

NIV 1 Timothy 6:7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.

In the book of Genesis, Adam was punished by God for his sins. God told Adam in NIV Genesis 3:19 "By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken, for dust you are and to dust you will return." We are made from ash and dust and at the end of our life, we will return as ash and dust.

NIV 1 Timothy 6:7 "For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it." We came to the world with bare hands and will die without taking anything with us. That's no point for us to chase worldly success and waste time on climbing up the social ladder. Pursuing faith in God is a meaningful thing to do in our life, why don't we submit ourselves to God by now?

Lord, thank you for breathing life into us. Help us to reveal the meaning of our life by submitting ourselves to you. Follow your words and work for your glory. Amen!
