It's finished!

NIV John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Before Jesus died at the cross and ascended to Heaven, He was tortured by others without giving up His mission. Later, He knew it is the time to fulfill Scripture, He said "I am thirsty." then in NIV John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

It is finished! The inherent sins of Adam and Eve are now cleaned by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. Before sinning against God, we should think about the pain Jesus bore for us and refrain from sinning.

Lord, thank you for forgiving our sins. Help us remember Jesus' mercy and grace to sacrifice for our sins. With Holy Spirit's help, we can resist sinning against you. We prayed in Jesus' Holy Name, Amen!
