With humility comes wisdom!

NIV Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.

Human pride can bring devastating consequences, and lots of bible verses reminded us of this warning. NIV Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. In the book of Genesis, people gathered together to build The Tower of Babel, as they wanted to exalt themselves and even despise God. But the result was, their work had never been completed and people were dispersed over the earth since then.

Wise people will fear God and follow His commandments. But with human flesh, we are weak to withstand the attack from negative thoughts and evil thinking. God is our source of help and comfort, and He promised us whenever we seek Him, we will find Him. Be humble when we come to God, as we do not have omniscience but God does!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the things you have prepared for us! Help us to be humble and know that you are God. We are willing to rely on you to share our love and blessings with others. In the name of Jesus, we prayed, Amen!
