It can take longer than you think, but God is in control.

                                           

NIV Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

If there are two tasks for us to complete, we will tend to pick the easier one or the one that can delight us. This is normal for us to do what we want to do that can bring satisfaction to our lives. But not everything is beneficial to our life and we won't grow in spiritual maturity if we don't step out of our comfort zone.

Yesterday, my friend texted me and said she got a new job offer. She had been searching for a job since 2019 and she felt grateful to God after receiving the offer. It may take a longer time than we think our prayer will be heard and fulfilled. But God hears us and He is always at work behind the scene for our best interest. NIV Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Let us submit to Him and wait patiently.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us a brand new day to live in the world. You are in control and you have a complete plan for us. Even though we can't sense your presence sometimes, you are with us! Help us fix our eyes on you and wait for your blessings to come. In Jesus' Holy Name we prayed. Amen!
